Saga University received the Semiconductor of the Year 2023 award for this achievement. The award is in recognition of the world&#8217;s highest output power of 875 MWcm-2 and output voltage of 3659 V achieved by Saga University&#8217;s diamond semiconductor device over the course of this year, which was published in The journal of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers and IEEE Electron Device Letters.
